How My 6 Month Old Boy Gives Me Inspiration - (a 60 Second read)

My Son Tristan
We all know kids can be very resilient. The other day I noticed my son crawling to the couch. He looked at it, knew that this was going to be a difficult task to achieve, but grabbed on and stood up! I have never seen him do this before! After 5 seconds, he fell on his butt, had a look of disappointment for a brief second, but got back up, and on his feet.
Now this reminds me of the experience we all go through in our own entrepreneurial journeys. We all fall. There is not one person who hasn't at some point in their lives. Now most people stay down and never attempt to get back up on their feet. My 6 month old son can, there is no reason why you can't!
Hey, I still go through my struggles. But I know that my struggles are going to be worthwhile. I know not to ever give up or quit. Remember this video about Nick Vujicic? If not, watch it here. This is the guy who has NO LEGS and NO ARMS and is very inspirational and his message about never giving up or quitting is awesome!
So I learn from my son everyday, just by watching him get out of his comfort zone, trying new things, and failing at most of them. But what really inspires me is he never gives up too. When he wants something, he is doing everything he can to get it! Whether it's trying to pet our dogs (they usually walk away), reaching for that toy that's on the couch, or grabbing that bottle to feed himself, he will stop at nothing to get what he wants!
And when he doesn't get what he wants, he throws a fit. Now I learned that when he throws a fit, he just showing how much passion he has for wanting something.
It's no longer frustrating for me to listen to his tantrums (I know, thismay be hard to believe). He just telling me that he has the drive and determination to get what he wants.
So what's your passion? Are you doing everything you need to do to get what you want? I know my 6 month old son is!
