What is "branding yourself" mean? This means getting your name and face out there so people know who you really are. The internet is very saturated with the "next best business opportunity or product". People want to "see" other people, not just the next big opportunity or product. People that are searching for something to do to create more time and income are looking to work with real people! Show your audience who you are. People are going to recognize your face and name and are going to feel more comfortable in connecting with you.  

     There are many reasons personally branding yourself that can greatly affect you in your business or any other opportunity you are seeking. Using the many social media tools we have now like Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, and Squidoo, are great ways to get you name and face out there. Right now people are spending more time on Facebook than Google. So be very active with these sites. Share informative links that will help people. Don't pitch your products or business opportunity. Your potential prospects will get turned off by this. By using social media the correct way, people will soon know the person you are by the way you talk and carry yourself. How many people out there want to work with someone they have never met?    

      Video marketing is HUGE right now. Getting to actually see people in their own environment will also make potential prospects feel better about you and possibly joining your opportunity. Search engines love videos! Some people don't like doing videos. Trust me, people love to watch videos. You may not be good at them but you will get better the more you do. Provide your video with informative content and you could be placed right at the top of the front page. All these ways are FREE! (unless you don't own a video camera).    

       Tell your story! The human brain responds to stories. People buy people. There are many individuals who have been in the same situation at one time so people will relate to your situation. Share your stories and experiences both good and bad. Whether it's through press releases, article marketing, blog posts, people will respond to those from-the-heart stories.

        Establish yourself as an expert in authority. People will definitely feel more comfortable working with someone that know what they're talking about. People are looking for leaders! You can do things like: Set up all your profiles on all your social media sites and make sure they are 100% completed, create your own website/blog to let your potential members you are serious about business and give out as much information as possible to those who are seeking it. Edify other leaders in the industry. I believe that giving begins the receiving process.

       Be creative. I know you may not have all the knowledge to compete with the established successful entrepeneurs in the competitive mind. Being creative will show people that you have a lot value to bring to others in a different way. This may take some time to find your creative side, but it will come out sooner or later. I always believe a creative mind will always out duel a competitive mind.
