So many people are turning to video these days for their online business, home business, or just to show the world who they are. Here are 10 tips on how to create better YouTube videos for you and your business.

1. Look your best! Now I am not saying you need to wear a suit and tie. But I believe that if you look good, you think good, then you can convey your message more clearly to your target audience. Shave, groom, come your hair to look presentable to your prospects.

2. If you are good at this, change camera angles! This can simply be done by walking, or driving. People tend to watch more of your video if there is some sort of movement, not just sitting in a chair. Be careful about video-ing yourself while you drive. It's not against the law....YET.

3. Create some curiosity in the beginning of your video so that your viewers watch the whole video. You can say things like "in a minute, I will reveal a big secret..."or something like that. These are called Open Loops to keep viewers around.

4. Use body language! This can be very important in engaging your audience. Using hand gestures to get you point across, smiling to let you audience know that you love what you are doing, and having great posture to let your viewers see your confidence are some great things that you can incorporate.

5. Drawing a picture or writing on an easel. Most video users don't do this. This is a MUST! This is something that many people can relate to. Most people are visual learners and when they see your drawings or pictures, they may understand the message that is being delivered.

6. Keep your voice consistent! Many inexperienced people may use a lot of "um's" and "uh's". This can tell your viewers that you are searching for information in you brain and these "um's" and "uh's" are are filling in that gap before you know what to say next. Some advice, if you don't know what to say next, just pause for a second, this may engage your viewers more because they are waiting for you to continue the message.

7. Shoot Tons of Videos!! If you are starting out making these videos, chances are you won't be very good at them. It is very difficult standing in front of a camera and talking to it. We're all used to talking to people, not a small machine. Just shoot as many videos as possible. If you make a mistake on your videos, hey, we're all human. No one cares. Just get your message out!

8. Show people your personal side. Every once in a while shoot a video on some of your hobbies, or pets, or local places you like to hang out. This can engage even more readers especially if you and some of your viewers have the same interests. This will increase your relationships and show everyone a different side of yourself.

9. Tell people what you've learned. Share valuable content or results to build that trust with your viewers and potential team members. Always contribute before you collect! Be that person that people can go to get their questions answered. Become that leader that people want to follow.

10. Be Yourself! This is very simple. People will trust you when they know who you really are. If you're funny, be funny! If you are a more serious person, be serious. Now I understand you may have to wear many "HATS" in the video marketing industry. Sometimes you may have to talk or act differently to certain groups of people to get you message across.
